Annual General Meeting 2026

Our AGM is an important annual event where our members can make their voices heard, through both the voting process and contributions during the meeting.

We encourage all members to attend and vote on the resolutions put forward. Voting can be done either by post or online before the meeting. In the interests of time and for technical reasons no voting is permitted during the AGM itself.

Postal votes should arrive 7 days prior to the meeting and online ballots should arrive over 24 hours before the meeting to allow for counting.

This year we are pleased to welcome Dr Matthew Forshaw (a Senior Advisor for Skills to The Alan Turing Institute, and a Reader in Data Science at Newcastle University), as our guest speaker. He will be speaking about '
Securing the UK's AI skills advantage: Building a resilient Data Science, OR and AI Profession'.

His keynote will explore how the UK can strengthen its AI capabilities through skills development, professionalisation, policy, and public trust, drawing on national strategies and workforce reform.

We look forward to seeing you.
